What's the difference between a Quokka and a Koala Partner?
A Quokka Partnership is designed to drive traffic to your own website, product, or booking page — it's about awareness and click-throughs. A Koala Partnership gives you a full presence on the map, with a dedicated Destination Page that showcases your business directly within the app.
How do travellers find my business on the app?
Travellers discover businesses through the interactive map, in-app search, curated routes, and location-based recommendations. Koala Partners also appear with a unique pin on the map, while Quokka Partners are featured through spotlight placements.
What do I need to get started?
To get started you'll need your business details, location, a description, and some photos. Koala Partners will also set up their Destination Page, which includes all the key information travellers need to visit you.
Can I update my business details after joining?
Yes — you can update your listing at any time from the Business Portal. Changes are reflected in the app once reviewed and published.
How much time does it take to set up?
Most partners are up and running in under 10 minutes. You can always come back to refine your listing over time.
Is there a minimum contract or long-term commitment?
No lock-in contracts. Partnerships are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. We want partners who see genuine value in being on the platform.
When will my business appear on the map?
After completing setup and submitting your listing, it goes through a quick review. Most listings are approved and live within 1–2 business days.
